COBRA C.L.A.W.S
Cobra C.L.A.W.s looks really nice in the new Spy Troops package when you find him on the shelf. He is well placed and displayed with his weapons. He also has his filecard on the back so you can read it without opening the figure. His filecard is written well and there's nice card art showing Cobra C.L.A.W.s, but it's the same art as has been used before. To date, no figure has been made exactly as the art for Cobra C.L.A.W.s shows.

Opening the figure, you have some fasteners to untangle. He comes out of the package with a little effort, but it doesn't take too much time.

This is a really nice figure. No questions about that! I don't really think it would matter if you do or do not like 12" figures, you will absolutely be glad to own this figure! He is so well sculpted that he makes you wish the 3 3/4" version was done like this. Speaking of the 3 3/4" version, this 12" figure isn't done like the smaller version. He has a look that I'd assume was a decision by the sculptor to just make his own idea. Plus as mentioned, there haven't been any figures made of the art version. As for what this figure has done different, he has some gaunlets that's all this figure's own. One has a launcher on it while the other has some cool looking claws that very my like Wolverine. I could see kids putting this figure up against Wolverine even. The Cobra artwork on the gaunlets are enough to talk about alone! You just have to see this figure to really appreciate it!

I give Cobra C.L.A.W.s 9 Cobras. Why 9? A whole point off because this figure would have been perfect if he had the Gung Ho gip. Instead he has the old Kung Fu grip as the new releases have had. Still, you need to go out and buy this figure!

DUKE
Duke looks great in the new Spy Troops package when you find him on the shelf. He is well placed and displayed with his weapons. He also has his filecard on the back so you can read it without opening the figure. His filecard is written well and there's nice card art showing a great comic book like version of Duke as he might look if he appeared in this outfit.

Unlike the first 12" Duke figure that was released, this one has a better sculpted face not to mention 2 articulated arms. This has more of a look that most fans have come to expect Duke to look like. He just doesn't work due to his molded on shirt. That's unnecessary. He also has the old style hands instead of the Gung-Ho grip that came out in 2002. The Gung Ho grip was a nice touch for the 12" figures and now it looks like Hasbro decided to take it away.

I give Duke 7 Cobras. He's a nice figure over all, but the molded on shirt just looks weird. The whole idea I would think in making a 12" figure is so they have removable clothes. If Hasbro wants to make molded on clothing, stick to the 3 3/4" figures. Plus no Gung Ho grip.

FLINT
Flint looks fine in the new Spy Troops package when you find him on the shelf. He is well placed and displayed with his weapons. He also has his filecard on the back so you can read it without opening the figure. His filecard is written well and you get a nice larger image that's the same as the art from the 3 3/4" figure.

Flint looks pretty good. He's not a bad figure. Hasbro could have done worse, but they could have done better also. He does have his beret as he should, and the outfit is ok for him too, but as a bazooka soldier though? The weapon doesn't fit with this figure, and his face doesn't look like what we've come to know Flint to look like. Over all he works ok, but he could have been better. That's really about all you can say for him.

7 1/2 Cobras is all I'd say this Flint is worth. Like I said, he's ok, but he's nothing that is really getting a lot of attention. Most fans are passing him up and I would have too if I wasn't a fan that feels I gotta get one of everything!

SHIPWRECK
Shipwreck looks fine in the Spy Troops package when you find him on the shelf. He is well placed in the package and you can see what you're getting. He also has his filecard on the back so you can read it without opening the figure. His filecard is written well.

For a 12" figure, this one is a fairly nice one. He has the molded on shirt so he doesn't look as good as he could. His head doesn't quite look right either because he looks like a regular 12" figure that just had a goatee and knit cap added. It's not exactly one of those figures a fan will say "Wow, this is a cool Shipwreck" about.

I give Shipwreck 8 Cobras. He works ok, and there's some great play value for kids with this one. He just doesn't do well enough for a long time fan unless you just want to settle. If Hasbro were to finally perfect making 12" figures, a later version would be better. This one is decent, but not the greatest. He also doesn't have the Gung Ho grip.

SNAKE EYES
Snake Eyes looks great when you see him on the shelf. His packaging is the G.I.Joe vs Cobra style that first showed up with the Wave 1 figure launch. He is well placed in the package and you can see what you're getting. He also has his filecard on the back so you can read it without opening the figure. His filecard is written well.

This is a decent figure. His head sculpt looks pretty nice. The upper body is done in black plastic while the lower body is in Caucasion tinted plastic. This is a little odd. The outfit is sort of odd too. He has a sort of Karate jacket top and camo pants. That's sort of weird, but oddly enough, not bad for Snake Eyes. It's possible to see this looks on a commando. I gotta give credit to Hasbro for using a figure that originally had control rods and such and was a canceled figure. He's pretty cool.

I give Snake Eyes 9 Cobras. He could have been better, but for what he is, he's great. I can't say he's worth the $19.99 price tag, but if you have the extra money, or a $10 off coupon like I did, then that's a perfect time to get this figure. He is worth having in your collection!
